2020 travels in review
As for us all, 2020 was completely different than we expected. We had only one trip abroad to Austria. Other than that we stayed in The Netherlands. Luckily we made some beautiful trips in The Netherlands during the Summer. So here are our 2020 travels from month to month. January Just like in 2019 we started the New Year at friends in Almere. 2019 travels in review
We had a good travel year, last year. We traveled in Europe, mostly the western part. We had trips in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Czech Republic and Spain. Our 2019 travels were fantastic in one word. January We started the New Year with friends in Almere. Playing board games and watching the fireworks. After this we started our 2019 travels with a visit to Uden on Ice our with my sister and nieces during Christmas break. Ice skating and tubing is so fun to do. 2018 travels in review
2020 has already started, and we have already made some trips. But in this post I want to take you back to 2018. We did a lot of trips, mostly in The Netherlands. It wasn’t the easiest year for us, but we got through it and we were still able to travel. Here are our 2018 travels per month. January A quiet month, we only took 3 trips. With Yuri’s class we went to castle de Haar and had a guided tour here. It was fun and informative. A Night at Van der Valk Hotel Tiel
Last Updated: August 1st 2024. Since Paul’s office hosted a party at the Van der Valk hotel Tiel, we decided to stay the night. It turned out to be a good decision, we loved our stay here and are going back with Yuri (some day). The Party The party was great, good food. There was lots of choice and the ambiance was good. The food was displayed market style. Each “market stall” had a different theme which corresponded with the food available. So there was Italian, Dutch and USA.
