20-Day Orlando to San Francisco Road Trip

    July 3, 2021 / 26 Comments

After driving from New York to Orlando and having a blast at Disney World we took our road trip further and drove from Orlando to San Francisco. There are a lot of options to do a coast to coast road trip, we went underneath through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. A route which we loved! The whole east coast to west coast road trip driving time non-stop would be about 1 day and 17 hours. But that would leave no time for national parks or highway 1, so we made it a 20 day route. Orlando to San Francisco Itinerary Day 1: Arrive at Orlando Day…

Disney World Orlando Florida is what dreams are made of. Disney World is large and can be overwhelming, especially for first time visitors. When coming with the right knowledge and a bit of a plan, it can be lots of fun and you will have a fabulous time. We visited in October 2014, a road trip with a toddler, and returned in July 2015. Both times we visited with our son, he was 4 and 5 years old on the visits. He loves it, whenever he talks about returning to Disney, he’s talking about Disney World. He says: ‘Mom, I want to go to Disney, the one we have to…

The USA is one of our favorite countries to road trip in, the endless roads and the sense of freedom you get with it. We’ve done several road trips through the USA and in 2015 we made a road trip from New York to Orlando. We took 21 days, with days in NYC in the beginning and days at the end for exploring Orlando. The New York to Orlando driving time non-stop would be 18-20 hours. But only stopping for gas and food would mean that you miss all the beautiful nature and attractions along the way. And there are so many stops worth your time. There are several options…
