Tulip Route Holland: the Best Goeree-Overflakkee Tulip Fields

Not as famous as the Flower Route, which is also in the province of Zuid-Holland. Due to it being less popular, there’re less people to share these famous tulip fields with. Tulip Route Flevoland: The Largest Tulip Area in The Netherlands
Last Updated: April 21st 2026. Admiring tulip fields in spring time is a wonderful thing to do. Here in the Netherlands driving a Tulip Route isn’t that hard. There’s ample choice. In the spring of 2021 we drove all 3 of the different tulip routes in Flevoland. Flevoland is the area with the most tulip fields in the Netherlands, so you will see plenty of tulips in all shades of color. Flevoland is a province in the middle and a bit of the north of the Netherlands. It’s the youngest province of the Netherlands, since it’s only in existence since the 1960s. Last Updated: April 21st 2026. The Netherlands is known around the world for its beautiful tulips. In spring, fields of flowers align the fields in the west of the Netherlands. There are several tulip routes throughout the country. We have driven the flower route by car, now 5 years in a row, in the province of Zuid-Holland.
